The Enforcement and Protective Services Association (EPSA) is a community of professional law enforcement, special police, auxiliary police, reserve police, security officers and private detectives. Through this association members share the Best Practices for the performance of the related duties of sworn and non-sworn officers. Via this educational, sharing process, we will better serve our clients, our profession, and the public at large.

Membership is granted subsequent to submitting an application, a background check, submission and verification of three references and verification of active or retired employment in the profession. Prosecution of criminal offenses are grounds for rejection.

Journal of Enforcement and Protective Services
The Journal of Enforcement and Protective Services is a new, peer-reviewed online (open access after one year) and print (via purchase) publication that serves the academic side of law enforcement and asset protection (both human and property). Acceptable submissions are manuscripts, brief reports (less than 10 pages), and letters to the editor. Manuscripts and reports can be in any format (APA, MLA, etc.) but should remain consistent throughout the paper. You DO NOT need to be an EPSA member to submit an article, but authors are expected to be a credentialed professional or retiree in the field. All articles will appear online ahead of print (print frequency to be determined) . |
Online Training
The EPSA will be offering FREE online training modules to members for enhancing the professional knowledge of our membership. Upon completion of the program, the member will receive a certificate acknowledging their successful completion. Additionally, there will be special topic articles that will be posted in the training area for the continuing education of our membership. |
